Imagine volunteers from multiple churches, representing multiple denominations and multiple cultures, coming together on one day to serve the city of Lexington. That's what will happen OCTOBER 10th, 2009. Several hundred volunteers will be a part of SERVE THE CITY, doing simple projects that will improve the city and meet the needs of people. You can help make a difference by donating a couple hours of your time to serve, while at the same time getting the chance to meet and interact with folks from a number of other churches in Lexington,. Join us as we serve together!
How to sign up....
Begin by registering, then search by city, then by category to find a project you'd like to sign up to attend on Saturday, October 10, 2009. Projects will be added periodically over the next few weeks. For the Fall 2009 event, we will only be offering projects in Lexington. We will have projects available in Georgetown and Winchester at our Spring 2009 event.
If you need to register your whole family, small group or just you and another person click on "Change Additional Volunteers" under the project and enter the number of people and their names.
